Questions and Answers for Parents ATTENDANCE:

BAND: Mr. Scotty Walker, Band Director: 984-5139 CAFETERIA: Ms. McZeal, Lunchroom Supervisor: 984-0827 CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-In: 7:20 - 7:45 Tardy - Students can sign in without parent Absent - Must have parent or designated person in student's records to sign student in, or have doctor's excuse or court documentation. (Refer to Handbook) Check-Out: 7:46 - 2:20 Student must have parental permission all day. (Refer to Handbook) DISCIPLINE: Assistant Principals will answer any discipline related questions. They can be reached at 984-5284 DRESS CODE: Uniform dress code consists of: Shirt: White, Black Kelly Green (Polo Style - Tucked In) Pants: Khaki or navy blue color - traditional uniform style. (Refer to Handbook) 504: Ms. Jamie Brassier (Lnageaux) handles 504 referral. She can be reached through the main office by calling 984-5284 HOMEWORK IF ILL: Contact the attendance office at 984-4114 if the child will be out for 2-3 days to a week. We must give teachers approximately 24 hours to get work together. If a child will be out of school for more than 2 weeks, homebound instruction should be considered. A doctor's recommendation is required for homebound instruction. A form to apply is available in the Guidance office. PERSONAL PROBLEMS: Contact your child's counselor at 216-9003. Please call and set up an appointment, as you may have to wait for a lengthy period of time if you just walk in. PROGRESS REPORTS: If you wish to know your student's progress between report card periods, progress reports are available in the Main Office every Friday. The student is responsible for picking one up and having his teachers sign the form and returning it to his parent/guardian. |
